Four Important Tips and Tricks to Gain more Reader Response

Have you felt like you have poured yourself into your post and given your all and you get absolutely no response!! I mean all you get back is "CHIRP CHIRP!!" I understand as a blog writer how frustrating that can be.  I am here to give you four important steps you can take so this doesn't keep happening to you.  You can, at last, relax and let those comments start pouring in. 

1.  Leave a Call to Action at the end of every post. That is right. Ask your viewers at the end of every post a lead in question.  To comment below or leave a suggestion on your post. Just simply ask them to comment. Easy as pie. 

2.  Use different Comment systems.  Many times your audience is active on facebook which is a different comment system so you may want to switch to that comment system.  However, Disqus offers a commenting system which is an assimilation of all three popular social network commenting systems plus the standard commenting system.  So that is always something to think about. 

3.  Always Comment Back.  If a viewer comments on your post thank them for commenting. Then respond to their comment.  If you disagree with their comment then simply state your point of view politely and remember that everyone is entitled to their own point of view.  If the commenter gets rude simply monitor and move their comment to trash and move on.  

4.  Remember to Comment on other blogs.  Nobody likes to visit your house if you don't reciprocate in return.  It builds the blog community.  So remember if a commenter leaves their link in the comment, visit their blog and leave a comment on their blog.  It is good hospitality. It also builds a bond between your fellow blog readers.

When you are writing a post and you want to write a great introduction, one that will be remembered. 

Here are four steps you can do to make a lasting impression on your post!!

1.  Open your story with some beautiful imagery. You could also start with a nice setting. Set your scene...

It was a dark and stormy night..

2.  Try beginning your introduction by starting with the ending first. Tell your story backward. It will catch your reader off guard and make for a great introduction!

3.  Start some drama!!  It is an irresistible way to start an introduction.  Try a little tension to get the reader squirming in their seat. It will make for a great storyline. So next time you are having some writer's block, start a great action scene. It should spice up your book. 

4.  Just get right to the point.  Don't build up.  Just get to the meat of the story. Maybe try starting off your introduction in the middle of a problem. In the middle of a situation. Grab the reader's attention immediately.
